# Claim testnet tokens from the faucet

> Claim free testnet tokens on Pocket to practice trading. Test tokens have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn.

The faucet distributes **test tokens only**. They have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn to other networks.

  Test tokens carry no monetary value. They exist solely for testing trades on Pocket testnet.

## Default allocation

When you claim through **Enable Trading**, you typically receive:

| Asset | Amount (testnet default)                       |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| USDC  | 1,000 on first claim; 100 every 24h thereafter |

Exact amounts may change per deployment. The UI always shows the current quota.

## How to claim

### During onboarding

    On step 1/2, click **Claim**.

    Wait for confirmation, then proceed to Establish Connection.

    Navigate to **Faucet** from the top navigation.

  <Step title="Connect wallet">
    Connect your wallet if needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Claim">
    Click **Claim**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check balances">
    Balances update in Portfolio and the trade panel.
  </Step>

## Claim limits

* First claim and daily top-up follow the amounts shown in the UI
* If you already claimed today, the UI shows a completed or countdown state instead of the claim button

## Send tokens (testnet)

After claiming, you can transfer test assets to another Pocket address via **Send Tokens** (Portfolio or trade UI). This helps multi-account testing.

## Not a deposit

  The faucet replaces deposit and withdraw on testnet. Real USDC bridging will be documented separately at mainnet launch.
