Pocket is non-custodial. You connect a wallet you control, and Pocket never holds your private keys.
Pocket does not store or manage your seed phrase. Your wallet provider remains the sole custodian of your keys.

Connect flow

Click Connect Wallet

Click Connect Wallet in the top bar or on the trade panel.

Select your wallet

Choose your wallet provider from the list.

Approve the connection

Approve the connection request in your wallet.

Confirm connection

Your address appears in the top bar when connected.

Enable Trading

Connecting a wallet alone does not authorize trading. Click Enable Trading to complete setup.

Claim testnet tokens

Claim your testnet tokens if you have not already done so.

Sign to connect

Sign a gas-free message to establish a local trading session.
The session can stay connected across visits if you opt in to Stay Connected.

Troubleshooting

Install the extension or open the site inside the wallet’s in-app browser.
Disconnect on pocket.fi, reset the wallet connection, then reconnect.
Switch to the Pocket Chain testnet network shown in the wallet prompt.
Refresh the page, ensure pop-up blockers are off, and retry the signature.

Security tips

Never share your seed phrase or private key.
  • Verify the URL is pocket.fi before signing
  • Disconnect when using a shared device
